Ingres.comEver have trouble identifying when a feature was introduced in Ingres?
It's always challenging to discover what features were released in a particular Ingres version when trying to plan a migration from one release of Ingres to another.
This document attempts to complement the Ingres Migration Guide by not only providing the list of features but also including the associated project page if one exists on the Community Wiki. In some cases, the release will predate the move by Ingres Engineering to make the design documents of new features readily accessible to the community. The Ingres Migration Guide should always be the first point of reference when research is underway concerning a migration from one Ingres release to another but hopefully the information provided here will also be beneficial.
Per Keith's great comment, the Ingres Product Roadmap is availabe at Product Roadmaps. As Ingres 10 moves closer to a GA status, a similar page/layout will be provided and added to here.

If you cannot find a feature in the Ingres documentation or in this feature guide please contact Ingres to find out if it is on the road map for development. You may also take ownership of the feature and contribute it to the Ingres community.
