How to become an Ingres Contributor

If you'd like to contribute patches to our DBMS code, we simply ask that you fill out our Contribution Agreement and return it to us

If the thought of writing DBMS code is a bit too intimidating, there are several other ways that you can contribute to the Ingres Community:

• Help other users in the forums
• Download and test alpha and beta releases
• Test your favorite applications with Ingres, and let us know the results
• Start an Ingres User Group and moderate a forum for it right on this site
