From Ingres Community Wiki
DAOGen is the OpenROAD Data Access Object Generator, a code generation utility for OpenROAD. DAOGen makes it easier to build OpenROAD applications”including eClient and mClient applications” because it automates the generation of back-end data services that implement object-relational mapping. It also generates an OpenROAD Server application that publishes DAO methods as commonly available services. These services can be used by any client” desktop, web browser, or mobile” including Java, .NET, ASP, JSP, and others.
