Empire stands stands for the Enhanced Multi-Platform Interpreted Runtime Engine and is the open source version of the commercial OpenROAD Development product. Empire provides open source developers with tools needed to quickly build and deploy sophisticated high performance and high availability business applications on a variety of platforms, accessing a broad range of data sources through Enterprise Access,EDBC, and the Ingres DBMS.

Do You Have An OpenROAD 2006 Installation?
Yes! I have an OpenROAD 2006 installation. I want to upgrade this OpenROAD 2006 installation to an Empire installation. I also understand that it will populate a database with the source code needed to build the Empire Workbench.

Do You Only Have An Ingres Installation?
Yes, I only have an Ingres DBMS installation that does not have OpenROAD installed. I want to upgrade this Ingres installation to an Empire Installation. I also understand that it will populate a database with the source code needed to build the Empire Workbench.
