The Empire Server project manages all aspects of the middleware 4GL server including the Remote Server Object (RSO), Server Pooler Object (SPO), Name Server, Gatekeeper, DCOM and HTTP interfaces, etc.

Empire Server
The Empire Server project will be a logical follow-on to the existing OpenROAD Server. There will not be any MainWin depencencies. The objective is to allow this to be built on any platform that Ingres has a port.
