Ingres Contribution Agreement

If you'd like to contribute patches to the Ingres source code, we simply ask that you fill out our Contribution Agreement and return it to us.

The contributor agreement is located here. Download it, sign it and fax or mail to our home offices in Redwood City. Delivery instructions are in the agreement.

If the thought of writing DBMS code is a bit too intimidating, there are several other ways that you can contribute to the Ingres Community:

  • Help other users in the forums
  • Download and test alpha and beta releases
  • Test your favorite applications with Ingres, and let us know the results
  • Start an Ingres User Group and moderate a forum for it right on the Ingres community website
  • Contribute Articles to the Community Wiki
