Getting Help
There are a number of options available for getting support for your Ingres environment. If you are hosting a production application, your best bet to ensure complete continuity of service is to partner with Ingres Corp. with a commercial support contract. This provides you with access to both the certified binaries as well as 24x7 "follow the sun" support from our Professional Support group. Report a Bug/Suggest an Enchancement
If you are using Ingres community edition and have encountered an issue or would like to see an enhancement, please log it in bugs. Issues are reviewed and responded to by Ingres community members which include members of our professional support staff, our engineering staff and community developers and contributors.
Ingres Service Desk
If you are an Ingres customer with an active support contract, raise a request with our professional support group, simply log into the Service Desk and log your request!
Community Forums
Support for the open source version of the Ingres RDBMS is provided by the community.
- For questions regarding the administration of the Ingres RDBMS (i.e., DBA questions), use the DBA forum
- For questions regarding migration to Ingres (i.e., from earlier versions or other platforms), use the Migration forum
- For questions regarding developing on or contributing to Ingres (i.e., questions for Ingres Engineering), use the Contributor's forum

Ingres has an active news group.
- The Ingres news group can be found at comp.databases.ingres which is located on most listservers, including Google.
