	Ingres Migration Tool Set A set of tools and libraries designed to assist you in migrating your database schemas from Oracle (other DBMS will follow) to the Ingres DBMS. The Ingres Migration Tool Set includes a wizard which leverages Idiom to enable the migration of database procedures as well as database schema objects. 	Oracle to Ingres Helper Scripts This is a new repository set up to store any helper scripts used when migrating Oracle schemas to Ingres. 	Sybase to Ingres Helper Scripts This is a new repository set up to store any helper scripts used when migrating Sybase schemas to Ingres. 	Ingres Database Migration Tool This is a Java-based standalone application that extends a popular open source database manager tool called Druid. Using the Druid application together with the Ingres module allows users to migrate Sybase and SQLServer schemas to Ingres. Please take a look. Your feedback is welcomed. 	Ingres Database Functions Matrix Ingres has features that may differ with competitive database products. We have started to look at what can be done with Ingres procedures when used to replace a table in the FROM clause of a SELECT statement. 	Ingres Database Command Line Matrix Ingres command line interfaces and tools are not the same as other cometitive products. 	Date Manipulation Program Simple C program to manipulate the format of dates in a delimited file to make them compatible to load into Ingres timestamps. This currently does only one type of conversion, but you can easily change this to suit your own requirements. 	VectorWise Date Manipulation Program For loading, VectorWise currently only supports the ‘YYYY-MM-DD’ date (e.g. 2009-12-24) and ‘HH:MM:SS’ (18:00:00) format. If you have dates in another format, you might consider converting them into supported formats using the ‘ivw-date-converter’ tool.
