From Slough Rail/Bus Station
Leave the station exiting onto Brunel Way. Turn left onto William St and go right at the roundabout onto Wellington St. This leads onto the Bath Road. At the major traffic lights at the junction with the A355 (signposted to M4) continue straight on for approximately half a mile. 215 Bath Road is on the left hand side of the road near the junction with Twinches Lane. Slough Bus Station is located opposite the rail station. Buses 75 and 76 run from here down the Bath Road. Alight at ‘Slough Trading Estate, Twinches Lane North’, and then walk slightly down the road against the direction of traffic. The office is a few metres down on the same side of the road, just before Twinches Lane.
By Car
Exit M4 Junction 6 for Slough Central. Go straight on at first roundabout. Keep in left hand lane in preparation to filter left before the A4 Bath Road. At main A4 traffic lights turn left into the Bath Road. Stay in left hand lane and approximately half a mile down the Bath Road turn left at Twinches Lane, then immediately right at Bath Road. The visitors’ car park is located at the front of the building and is accessed from the side road section of the Bath Road.

This will start at 6pm Monday at the Ingres Slough office, and will take place in the Training Room there.

Topic: OpenROAD status and plans
Speaker: Joe Kronk - Director, Engineering Ingres Corporation
Joe will give an update on the current status and plans for OpenROAD. This will be a short presentation that gives an update on the OpenROAD team's activity from a support and development prospective. After a short update on the state of OpenROAD 2006, well talk about plans for OpenROAD 5.2, 6.0 and 7.0 outlining the features that are planned. There will be some time for some Q & A after the presentation.

Rich has a an exciting announcement about a new contribution to the Open Source community. He also covers some great OpenROAD development / integration tools such as Thug and ProxyGen.
Topic: Mobile Application Architecture for the Cloud
Speaker: Paul White - Shift Seven Solutions
Like websites in the 90s, Mobile Apps are becoming a must have for a mobile workforce. Paul White demonstrates the methodology and mobile architectures Peerless Foods has developed to make mobile apps faster, cheaper and easier to use.
Topic: Deployment on Steroids with LoadnRun
Speaker: Roy Deal Simon - Bording Data
What if eClients were as convenient and secure to deploy as Silverlight applications? Roy Simon will give a sneak-peek at the next generation of the eClient installer which targets locked-down PCs and features side-by-side installations, auto-deployment, auto-updating, cross-platform setups, and much more.
Sprint:
This will start at 9am Monday at the Ingres Slough office, and will take place in the Windor Conference Room there. Please make sure you bring laptops. There will be a couple of lifeboat laptops, for emergency only!

- Trace Window:Optional Timestamp in Trace window(all messages in the trace window should have a timestamp if a environment variable is set to do so)
- Workbench: select more than one item in the user class editor attributes or methods list for copy, cut & paste
- Workbench: store information on DB connection created by a user in the Query tab, so the next time the Workbench is opened he can reconnect there
- Workbench: when refreshing the application list or component list the DBCache should be refreshed too, Otherwise you don’t see changes made by other processes (e.g. a PropertyChanger run), if you had the application/component already fetched.
