The OpenROAD Proxy Generator (ProxyGen) is available for download as a GPL (Community support) project.
GPL Edition
The GPL Edition of ProxyGen is available to all community members. Support for this version of the tool is provided by the open source community. There are certain implications for using the open source version of ProxyGen; we recommend that you consult the GPL v.2 license before undergoing any development to ensure your compliance with the terms of the license.

Installation
The ProxyGen installer performs the following actions:
- Copies the demo files to the workstation
- Creates shortcuts
- Opens the readme file
Note: The installer does not load the source code for the tool into any database. If you want to investigate or modify the source for the tool, the application export files are located in the installation directory.
System Requirements
Windows platforms: Intel® Pentium® III or equivalent processor; Microsoft® Windows® Vista; Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2; Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4; Windows 2003 Server; 128MB of RAM; Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0; Ingres 2.x or 2006 (any release) or Enterprise Access 2.6 and Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or IBM DB2/UDB, OpenROAD 4.1 or 2006 Development.
Before Installing
Stop any running instance of ProxyGen. This will ensure that no files are locked and will allow the installer to run successfully.
Installation on Windows
The ProxyGen installer has been packaged for Microsoft Windows as a self-extracting installer for local installation or distribution on a LAN. Unzip the archive download and start the the installer executable.
Removing ProxyGen
An uninstall icon has been created in the Program folder to uninstall ProxyGen.
